A Grateful Farewell to Kelly Meadows and Jere Hickok:

Kelly Meadows, Administrative Assistant and Financial Secretary: After 20 years of faithful service, Kelly retired in June. In addition to accounting duties, Kelly also served as a coordinator of all things front office, the “go to” person for information central, our communications specialist and multi-tasker extraordinaire. Her commitment extended far beyond any job description, as Kelly was often found giving prayerful support to callers, staff and visitors and lending her talents in countless ways in support of the church’s mission. Kelly’s love for Christ showed in all she did.

Kelly is enjoying spending time with her husband Bill, having more time to devote to her art and painting, and visiting grandchildren in North Carolina.

Jere Hickok, Administrative Assistant: Jere also retired from her part-time office position after just over two years of faithful service. We have been so grateful for her dedication to the church and to the Lord. Jere has been a tremendous blessing to the entire staff.

Both Kelly and Jere plan to continue attending First Baptist Church after they retire.
